Description

French foil with cord wrapped grip and small figure eight guard. Flared curvature of grip and peened, acorn-shaped pommel. Red Leather pad laminated with woven fabric on forward face. English-language country of origin mark "Made in Germany", "Solingen", "##" and "J. H. Lau & Co New York" markings on the blade forte.

French foil. Steel, leather, fabric, cord, wood. Overall length: 39.625 in. Blade 32 in. long, .4375 in. wide at forte. Guard 2.6875 in. tall, 2.375 in. wide, .375 in. thick. Grip 5.75 in. long, 2.625 in. circumference at widest (at flare). Pommel 1.25 in. long, .625 in. diameter at widest. Weight 256 grams.
