Description
Fencing mask, likely used for sabre fencing. Leather-reinforced padded rim around the perimeter of the face and cage around the top and sides of the head. Heavily padded interior including along the tongue, sides of the face and ears, cheeks, chin, and forehead. Broad, thick leather bib with additional padding over the throat. Openings for the ears are covered with flaps of thick leather.
