Description
Sharp French dueling sword with shagreen grip. Cast iron guard and pommel adored with acanthus scrollwork. Grip's wire was absent at acquisition and replaced by owner with twisted strands of stainless steel wire; original shagreen and wood grip. Black leather pad added by owner during repairs. "Coulaux & Cie Klingenthal" marking on blade forte.
